Our History

Company president, Laura Virgadamo, and master Houston electrician, Dennis Virgadamo, began the Harmony Electric company in 1985. In 1986, it was decided that the company should be moved to a more prime location; the Houston Heights. Houston Heights is known today as one of Houston's most historic districts. After their first successful year in business at their new location, Laura and Dennis decided to incorporate the company transforming it into the Harmony Electric Co., Inc.

Our Mission

The Harmony Electric Company, Inc. is committed to "harmony" and what it represents as it involves much more than just connecting a few wires. Achieving this harmonic balance requires true skill, real knowledge, and a strong "doing it right the first time" commitment with values rooted in craftsmanship and professionalism.

Our Values

2) We are active members in numerous professional trade associations and organizations keeping up with evolving technology.
3) We encourage all of our employees to participate in ongoing training programs to improve their skills, enhance their knowledge and increase their areas of specialization.
4) We maintain all required licenses along with liability and workman's compensation insurance.
5) We follow all requirements outlined by the occupational Safety and Health Administration including employee drug testing and maintenance of HAZCOM and Safety Programs.
6) We particpate in neighborhood organizations to build a better community for future generations.
